आज का Student केवल किताबों और Classroom तक सीमित नहीं है। पढ़ाई के लिए Google पर Research करना, PDF बनाना, Online Form भरना, Email भेजना, Presentation तैयार करना, Digital Payment करना, AI Tools इस्तेमाल करना और Online Interview देना, ये सब Student Life का हिस्सा बन चुके हैं।
लेकिन यहां एक सवाल महत्वपूर्ण है:
क्या Smartphone चलाना ही Digital Skill है?
Ans: नहीं। Digital Skill का मतलब केवल Mobile, Laptop या Computer चलाना नहीं है। UNESCO के अनुसार Digital Skills में Digital Devices, Communication Applications और Networks का इस्तेमाल करके Information को Access और Manage करना, Digital Content बनाना और Share करना, Communication और Collaboration करना तथा Problems को Solve करना शामिल है।
Digital Skills की जरूरत इतनी महत्वपूर्ण क्यों हो गई है?
- AI and Big Data
- Networks and Cybersecurity
- Technological Literacy
को 2025–2030 के लिए सबसे तेजी से बढ़ती skills में रखा गया है। इसके साथ Creative Thinking, Resilience, Flexibility, Agility और Lifelong Learning जैसी skills भी महत्वपूर्ण बनी हुई हैं।
WEF के अनुसार यदि दुनिया की workforce को 100 लोगों के समूह के रूप में देखा जाए, तो 2030 तक 59 लोगों को reskilling या upskilling की जरूरत पड़ सकती है।
Digital Skills आखिर होती क्या हैं?
European Commission के DigComp framework में Digital Competence को पांच बड़े क्षेत्रों में समझाया गया है:
- Information and Data Literacy
- Communication and Collaboration
- Digital Content Creation
- Safety
- Problem Solving
Internet पर सही Information Search करना
Google पर Search करना आसान है। लेकिन सही Information ढूंढना एक Skill है।
एक Digital-skilled Student को यह पता होना चाहिए:
- सही keywords कैसे चुनें?
- Official Website कैसे पहचानें?
- एक information को दूसरे source से कैसे verify करें?
- पुराने और नए information में अंतर कैसे करें?
- Fake Website और misleading content कैसे पहचानें?
- किसी Article के Author और Source को कैसे check करें?
UNESCO के अनुसार Digital Literacy में information को retrieve, assess, store, produce और exchange करने की क्षमता शामिल है। यानी Google Search करना Digital Skill का सिर्फ पहला हिस्सा है।
Email और Professional Communication
आज Student को Email लिखना जरूर आना चाहिए।
उदाहरण:
- Professor को Email
- Internship के लिए Application
- Job Application
- College Administration से Communication
- किसी Company से Professional Contact
एक अच्छे Email में होना चाहिए:
Subject → Greeting → Main Message → Required Action → Closing
इसके साथ Student को:
- CC और BCC
- Attachment
- Email Signature
- Professional language
का basic knowledge भी होना चाहिए।
Word Processing सीखें
आज लगभग हर Student को किसी न किसी रूप में documents बनाने पड़ते हैं। इसलिए MS Word या Google Docs जैसे tools का basic knowledge होना उपयोगी है।
सीखें:
- Heading और Formatting
- Page Number
- Table
- Image Insert
- Header/Footer
- References
- PDF Export
- Spell Check
- Document Sharing
Digital Content Creation
आज Student केवल information consume नहीं करता; वह information create भी करता है।
उदाहरण:
- Presentation
- Poster
- Infographic
- Blog
- Instagram Post
- YouTube Video
- Short Video
- PDF Notes
इसलिए Canva जैसे design tools, PowerPoint/Google Slides और basic video editing की जानकारी उपयोगी हो सकती है।
Cybersecurity और Online Safety
Digital Skill का मतलब केवल Technology का फायदा उठाना नहीं है। Technology से खुद को सुरक्षित रखना भी Digital Skill है। Student को कम से कम यह पता होना चाहिए:
- Strong Password क्या है?
- Two-Factor Authentication क्या है?
- Phishing क्या है?
- Fake Link कैसे पहचानें?
- OTP किसी को क्यों नहीं देना चाहिए?
- Public Computer पर Account Logout क्यों करना चाहिए?
- Unknown Apps को Permission देने से पहले क्या देखना चाहिए?
- Personal Documents Online Share करते समय क्या सावधानी रखें?
European Commission के DigComp framework में Safety Digital Competence के पांच प्रमुख क्षेत्रों में शामिल है।
Digital Payments और Financial Safety
भारत में Students के लिए Digital Payments रोजमर्रा की जिंदगी का हिस्सा बन चुके हैं। इसलिए basic digital financial literacy भी उपयोगी है। Student को समझना चाहिए:
- UPI क्या है?
- UPI PIN और OTP में अंतर
- QR Code से Payment कैसे होता है?
- Payment request क्या होती है?
- Fraudulent payment request कैसे पहचानें?
- Bank से आने वाले genuine communication को कैसे verify करें?

My thinking :
Digital Skills अब केवल IT Students की जरूरत नहीं रह गई हैं। एक सामान्य College Student भी रोजाना Internet, Documents, Email, Online Forms, Cloud Storage, Digital Payments और AI Tools का इस्तेमाल करता है। Global frameworks जैसे UNESCO और DigComp Digital Skills को Information, Communication, Content Creation, Safety और Problem-Solving जैसे क्षेत्रों में देखते हैं।
वहीं World Economic Forum के 2025 employer data में AI and Big Data, Cybersecurity और Technological Literacy तेजी से बढ़ती skill areas में हैं। साथ ही Analytical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Resilience और Lifelong Learning जैसी human skills भी महत्वपूर्ण बनी हुई हैं।
भारत की National Education Policy 2020 भी Students के लिए Digital Literacy, Coding, Computational Thinking, Communication, Collaboration और Problem Solving जैसी skills को महत्व देती है। Core Subject + Digital Skills + AI Literacy + Human Skills
क्योंकि आने वाले समय में Technology बदलती रहेगी, लेकिन सीखने, सोचने, समस्या हल करने और Technology का सही इस्तेमाल करने की क्षमता लगातार काम आएगी।
